The\u00a0Council of Textile & Fashion<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(CTF) continue to grow Curated Melbourne in May and June, this time at two of Melbourne CBD\u2019s prime retail locations, the\u00a0Emporium<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u548c\u00a0St. Collins Lane<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

What is\u00a0Curated Melbourne<\/span><\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CTF Curated launched earlier this year as a program for emerging Fashion & Textile (F&T) businesses. CTF was approached by these companies who identified that the areas they needed help with the most were mentorship, targeted and practical training and exposure to retail. What came of these early consultations was Curated, a program with each of these elements, organised around a series of \u201cdepartment store\u201d retail experiences each year. As the name suggests, the range is carefully curated and offers everything from children\u2019s to men\u2019s and women\u2019s wear to jewellery and accessories.<\/p>\n

Why the\u00a0<\/span>Council of Textile & Fashion<\/span><\/a>?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As a not for profit, independent membership body, and the peak industry body for Australia\u2019s Fashion & Textile sector, we represent businesses from across the Australian textile and fashion supply chain. Our core mission is to help the local industry grow, and we see supporting emerging labels and designers as a key part of that ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Support for the program has been broad with the involvement of a stellar lineup of mentors like John Condilis (Nobody Denim), Courtney Miller (Australian Fashion Chamber), Graeme Lewsey (VAMFF), Carla Woidt (Country Road), to name a few.<\/p>\n
